Questions about Project Kairos

Short answers to what people ask most. For how the technology itself works, see exoskeletons explained.

What is Project Kairos?

Project Kairos brings exoskeleton technology out of the laboratory and into everyday life, beginning in Singapore. It is a project of Forthwell.

Is Project Kairos a product?

Not a single product. Project Kairos is preparing to bring exoskeleton technology from established makers to Singapore; brand partners are under evaluation. Models shown on this site illustrate the technology, not a specific product.

When will Project Kairos launch?

A launch date has not been announced. Founding members are the first to hear, and the first to receive access at launch.

How much will it cost?

Prices have not been announced. Founding members will hear first.

Where will it be available?

In Singapore first. Our mission is to bring exoskeleton technology into everyday life around the world.

Who is it for?

Anyone interested in support for everyday movement, for themselves, a parent or grandparent, a partner or someone else.

Is it a medical device?

No. Project Kairos is about wearables for everyday movement, which are not medical devices, and we make no medical claims.

What does Kairos mean?

καιρός is Ancient Greek for the right moment: the moment a powered exoskeleton adds its support, then lets go.
